Join us as historian Jerry Berg of the Swordsmanship Museum and Academy takes us back to the era of the high seas and the black flag, where sailor and soldier clashed with adventurous rogues in battles and boarding parties, raids and duels, on the frontiers of colonial society.
The Golden Age of Piracy saw the terror of many different pirates, buccaneers, privateers, and corsairs, each of which carried a variety of weapons to grow their fighting prowess and intimidation on the high seas.
Learn about cutlasses, smallswords, boarding axes, and more as Jerry uses historical replicas and antiques from the Museum's collection to help educate about the weapons of these terrifying adventurers!
