Drink Mead, Learn Things - Celtic Mythology: Where to Begin?

Join us as we welcome Siân Esther Powell, a storyteller and host of the Celtic Myths and Legends Podcast, who will be joining us at Grimsby Hollow Meadery via livestream! During this incredibly unique edition of Drink Mead, Learn Things, Siân will take us on a mythical journey around the 6 Celtic nations.  Learn about the historical connections between Ireland, Scotland, Isle of Man, Wales, Cornwall and Brittany before Siân introduces you to a folk tale from each region. Please note that Siân will be joining us from Cornwall via livestream, but this is an in- person event at the meadery. The presentation will be projected onto our large projector screen and we will have a microphone set up so that you can ask Siân any questions you may have. You’ll also be able to browse a small exhibit of various books, resources, maps, and illustrations for those who would like to learn even more about the places and creatures covered during the presentation.

The world of Celtic myths and Legends is incredibly robust, so Siân will be giving us just enough

to whet our appetites. But, never fear, we’re already making plans to welcome Siân back on a

more regular basis to delve even deeper into the exciting, wonderful, and sometimes sinister

world of Celtic Myths and Legends!
